On the water's edge of the international yacht marina on Cape Town's Waterfront, Bascule is the perfect setting to take in the sights and sounds of the busy Waterfront surrounds. There are over 400 whiskies from around the world and an impressive selection of the finest Cape wines on offer.
WHISKY TASTING:Bascule offers the unique opportunity to learn about the ancient and fascinating history of whisky, as well as the art of distilling, maturing and blending.
Two Whisky Tastings available:
A Shared Experience: R 395 per person
Join fellow enthusiasts as we taste, appreciate and learn about the various styles of whisky on offer. The Shared Experience tasting is limited to 12 guests and includes six whiskies as well as three appetisers.
Tastings begin at 18h00 and are conducted Saturdays to Thursdays, lasting for approximately 1 hour.
Booking is essential.
Connoisseur’s Choice: R1,000 per person
This is one for the true whisky aficionado! Enjoy a bespoke tasting that highlights unique, rare and premium whiskies from the extensive Bascule collection.
