The five-star superior Hotel Traube Tonbach, family owned since 1789, is surrounded by the stunning natural landscape of the Black Forest National Park. In the 18th century, baker Tobias Finkbeiner opened a traditional tavern for the charcoal makers and lumbermen working in the forest. Today the original "Traube" has become a modern luxury resort known for fulfilling all the wishes of its guests. The Hotel Traube Tonbach is in the possession of the Finkbeiner family for over 230 years now. Today, patron Heiner Finkbeiner and his wife Renate put their personal and ambitious touch on managing this establishment with support from their children Matthias, Sebastian and Antonia. The hotel contains 153 rooms, 4 restaurants, including the 3-star Michelin Restaurant Schwarzwaldstube and the 1-star Michelin Restaurant Koehlerstube. The SPA area and the SPA & RESORT cover 4500 square meters (50,000 square feet). In the Traube Kids Court is plenty of space for active children.
